Mentorship: Guiding Your Entrepreneurial Journey
Connect with local mentors and other business owners and professionals
Mentorship is a critical part of any business’ growth, whether you’re just starting out or already an experienced entrepreneur. At CIE, we offer a range of ways to connect with mentors and learn from others to build your business, solve challenges, and tap into new opportunities. Whether through informal conversations in our Business Café or more structured programs, personalized guidance from mentors can make all the difference in your entrepreneurial journey.
Business Support and Mentorship
You don’t have to figure everything out on your own. Through CIE, you can connect with experienced mentors and advisors who are available to listen, share insights, and offer perspective based on real-world experience. Support is flexible — you might ask a quick question, get feedback on an idea, or build an ongoing relationship with someone who understands your goals.
The Business Café
The Business Café is CIE’s private online community for current and past clients. It’s where mentorship and business support happen every day — through conversations, connections, and shared experiences. It’s also where you can register for training programs and events, request one-on-one advising, and stay engaged with the broader CIE community.
How Mentorship Works
- Ask questions and get guidance: Reach out when you’re facing a challenge or want input on an idea.
- Connect with mentors: Engage with experienced volunteers who are here to support your growth.
- Learn in different ways: Join discussions, participate in programs, or connect one-on-one.
- Build relationships over time: Some connections are informal, while others develop into ongoing mentorship.
Why It Helps
A trusted, shared community: The Business Café is open only to current and past CIE clients, creating a space where members share common experiences and understand the challenges of building a business.
Connections close to home: Region-based subgroups make it easier to connect with entrepreneurs, mentors, and resources in your local area or industry.
Support that fits your needs: From group conversations to one-on-one guidance, you can engage in a way that works for you.
