For five years, Hortencia Gonzalez has delighted customers with her sweet Mexican bread and cakes. With support from CIE’s Blended Capital Program and guidance from Cinthya Montero, she secured funding for a commercial refrigerator that will allow her to increase production and grow her sales. “Now I can sell more,” she says. Her story reflects how CIE supports entrepreneurs through deep listening, patient guidance, and trust.
Start Simple in Toppenish
We are excited to announce that Start Simple will be offered in partnership with the Yakama Nation this April. The class will meet in person on April 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m. This program is funded by WEDFA and created to support Native entrepreneurs.
