Position Overview:

Eligibility


CIE is a Washington State 501(c)(3) nonprofit funded by grants and donations to provide CommunityEnterprise services at no cost to our participants. We prioritize low- income people in counties served by our business advisers who are working to start or strengthen a microenterprise. If you are eligible, you will be assigned to one of our business advisors who will help you connect to the services you need to succeed.

  1. Refer to the chart below to check your income eligibility by county and household size.
  2. We serve:
    • North Peninsula – Clallam and Jefferson Counties,
    • North Cascades – Island, Skagit, Snohomish, and Whatcom Counties
    • The Columbia Basin – Adam, Benton, Grant, and Yakima Counties
    • The Palouse – Columbia, Franklin, Garfield and Walla Walla Counties
  3. A microenterprise is owner-operated, under five employees (including the owner) that needs less than $50,000 in capital to startup or get ready to grow.

The Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship is a member of the Washington SBDC Network. The Washington SBDC is an accredited member of America’s SBDC. Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, institutions of higher education, economic development organizations and other public and private funding partners.

Washington SBDC services are extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. Language assistance services are available for limited English proficient individuals.
