Celebrating Women’s History Month
Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship — March 2025 Newsletter
This March, the Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship (CIE) celebrates the power, resilience, and transformative spirit of women in marginalized rural communities. Since 2013, we’ve had the privilege of supporting women entrepreneurs who are breaking barriers and driving change in economic, social, and environmental landscapes.
Our mission is to make business ownership a possibility for women, particularly those with limited resources. This Women’s History Month, we lift up the women whose unwavering determination and leadership inspire us all. Together, we empower women to shape resilient, self-sustaining economies and create a world where justice and opportunity are within reach for all.
Empowering Latina Entrepreneurs through COMADRES
We proudly spotlight the inspiring Latina entrepreneurs that have participated and are currently participating in the COMADRES program. COMADRES participants have been taking bold steps to make their business ideas a reality. The program is in full swing, providing them with the tools, resources, and mentorship needed to bring their entrepreneurial dreams to life.
COMADRES is a transformative training initiative designed to help Latina women explore their business ideas, assess their feasibility, and connect with a supportive network of fellow entrepreneurs and resources. In addition to the training, participants receive invaluable personalized support from bilingual business advisors at CIE, helping them refine their business plans and navigate any challenges they face. Many also qualify for seed capital grants, giving them a vital financial boost to get their businesses off the ground.
This Women’s History Month, we celebrate these courageous Latina entrepreneurs who are shaping the future with their innovation, leadership, and unwavering commitment to creating change.
We look forward to continuing to support the success of all the participants and watching their entrepreneurial journeys thrive!
