CIE is participating in a state-wide giving event called GiveBIG, happening May 4-5, with early giving starting on April 20. As a nonprofit, we rely on grants and donations to provide partnerships, training and guidance to individuals with big ideas in rural communities.
How can the community support CIE? By donating to GiveBIG and/or by spreading the word by becoming a FUNdraisers on the GiveBIG platform. Help CIE connect with future rural leaders and help their business ideas to become a reality.
How to spread the word – become a FUNdraiser for the campaign

- Scroll down and find the large plus button – create a fundraising page
- Set a goal for the amount you want to raise for CIE
- Change the image to a CIE graphic (click button for graphics)
- Write a brief story about CIE
- Save and Publish
- The website will take you to a sign in page. Type in your email and create a password. You wont receive emails from this, it’s just to keep track of the people who donated.
- Share! Every time you share your page on social media, you expand the circle of people who get to know and support CIE
