Blended Capital Grant Program

Under CIE’s Blended Capital Grant Program, CIE has funding for a limited number of grants to reimburse you for up to 90% of the costs of new equipment or assets needed to help strengthen or grow your existing small business.
Program Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be an active CIE client currently receiving one-on-one counseling from one of our business advisors
- Have an existing microenterprise business with a UBI number and an established business bank account
- Have sufficient capital to purchase the new equipment
- Purchase the new equipment by no later than June 20, 2025
Priority is given to low-income business owners who are Black, Latino, Indigenous, or Persons of Color.
Selected applicants will receive up to 10 hours of technical assistance to complete a grow-ready assessment and to develop a simple written business plan showing how the new equipment will strengthen or grow your business. You must purchase the equipment after your business plan is approved by CIE but before June 20. You must provide CIE with a copy of the receipt for the equipment purchased by no later than June 25. CIE will deposit the grant funds into your business bank account by June 30. Grants will not exceed the lesser of 90% of the purchase price or $3,000.
